Sofia Rei | LATIN JAZZ  Fri. 10/16, 8pm  Sofia is “one of the most versatile and in-demand singers on the New York music scene.” - All About Jazz The award-winning Argentine singer and songwriter has been named one of the 10 most important female musicians performing today. Her ensemble is an international cast that includes some of the most exciting young talent from North and South America.     Brazilian Voices BRAZILIAN JAZZ Sat. 10/17, 8pm  As multiple year winners of “Best Brazilian Music Group in the US”, this women's choir explores the rhythm of Brazil, performing bossa nova, samba and more.  The 10-time winners of the Brazilian International Press Award for Outstanding Brazilian Musical Group consist of an ensemble of talented female vocalists.     Moscow Jazz Orchestra JAZZ Sun. 10/18, 7pm  Moscow Jazz Orchestra is the hottest jazz orchestra of Russia and one of the best in the world.  Founded in 1999 by world famous saxophone player Igor Butman, the Orchestra consists of 16 splendid jazz musicians who frequently tour Russia, Europe, and the U.S., appearing at the world’s most prestigious jazz venues.    Alchemy Artist Showcase Tues. 10/13, 8-11pm (every other Tuesday)  It's here again!! This special showcase is the perfect outlet for local artists, emcees, musicians, actors, spoken word poets, comedians, and madmen…Come show off your skills and shine, in an open-mic, open stage setting.     The theater season at Arts Garage is already sizzling...
