Jazz legend, Lionel Hampton, was one of the original jazz vibraphonists.  Like Hampton, Christian Tamburr is a multi-instrumentalist, accomplished on the piano and trapset as well as world and orchestral percussion.  Downbeat Magazine awarded Tamburr the "Outstanding Solo Jazz Performer".  Christian has performed as a guest artist with Dave Brubeck, as a solo percussionist with Michael Feinstein, and opened for Harry Connick, Jr.  He currently leads the critically acclaimed Christian Tamburr Quartet, a four-piece acoustic Jazz Quartet.  Joining Christian for this concert are Jim Gaisor, piano; Jamie Ousley, bass and John Yarling, drums.

The concert begins at 7:45pm at the Amaturo Theater, located at
