Smooth jazz is back in Orlando

From: http://www.radio-info.com/

Early this August, Gross Communications' heritage smooth jazz WLOQ (103.1) became Spanish contemporary “KQ103”, ahead of the $8 million sale to the Lindemann family’s TTB Media Corporation. Now Clear Channel is using translator W273CA to simulcast the HD2 channel of its soft AC WMGF, supplying smooth jazz to the 250-watt translator. The translator is owned by Central Florida Educational Foundation, who also own top-rated contemporary Christian non-com WPOZ (88.3). 102.5 had previously simulcast Cox Media Group’s talk WDBO (580). But as of today (8/18), Cox doesn’t need it, because it just shelved classic rock WHTQ (96.5) to turn it into a full-power simulcast of ‘DBO.
