The 13th Annual Lakeside Jazz Festival will take place from 8:30am – 10:00pm on Friday, April 16 and Saturday, April 17 at the Kenneth Parker Performing Arts Amphitheatre at 1000 City Center Parkway in Port Orange.
Over 54 University, College, High School and Middle School Jazz Bands will be performing through-out the two day event. Each jazz band is adjudicated by a panel of university jazz educators and awards are presented.
The headliner jazz bands performing on Friday from 5:00pm – 9:00pm will be Stetson University Jazz Band, Daytona State Jazz Band, University of North Florida Jazz Band and the University of Central Florida Jazz Band. The Headliner performances on Saturday, April 17 will the Spruce Creek Twelve O’Clock Jazz Band, the Florida State University Combo, University of North Florida Jazz 2, The Florida State University Jazz Band and the United States Marine All-Star Jazz Band. Admission is free and open to the public.
