FREE JAZZ JAM SESSION FOR STUDENTS
FIRST FRIDAY JAZZ JAMS

The John S. and James L. Knight Foundation is the presenting sponsor of First Friday Jazz Jams, an outreach and educational project providing an opportunity for jazz students to participate in monthly live jazz jam sessions in a family-friendly environment. The Jazz Jams provide students of all ages a chance to perform with a live professional backline, provided by the Gold Coast Jazz Society for each jam session. First Friday Jazz Jams are open to any jazz students from area middle schools, high schools, colleges, universities as well as to the general public.
Other sponsors for the First Friday Jazz Jams project include the HI Foundation, Barbara Cooper, DeMeo Young McGrath – Certified Public Accountants and Consultants, Marlins Community Foundation WLRN and ArtServe.
