THIS YEAR'S BLUES FESTIVAL VENUE HAS CHANGED

Last year we had a fantastic turnout for the 2008 Festival but unfortunately we maximized our capacity at the Pine Island Resort (KOA) in St. James City.

This year we will be moving to a larger venue with better parking and a more convenient access to the rest of Lee County in general. This year the 10th. Annual Southwest Florida Blues Festival will be held outdoors at the German American Social Club located at, 2101 SW Pine Island Road, Cape Coral Florida 33991. (Also known as State Route 78 which can be accessed from I-75 and US-41, heading west)

The Matlacha Mariners future plans are to eventually take the Blues Festival back to Pine Island once a suitable location is available to host the event.

For those of you who enjoy staying in Matlacha or on Pine Island for its many unique galleries and Old Florida atmosphere, don't worry go ahead and make your reservations this venue is only about 3 miles east of Matlacha, (Mat-la-shay).

In the mean time we hope you'll come out and enjoy some of the Best Blues Musicians in the business. Please remember this is a Nonprofit event. Your attendance helps support music education, youth groups, senior citizen support networks and other local charities.

Adult Tickets are a $10.00 donation in Advance (OR) $15.00 at the Gate - Kids 11 and Under are Free with a Paid Adult.  Purchase info at: http://www.southwestfloridabluesfestival.com/

This is an outdoor venue, lawn/beach chairs, blankets and sunscreen are encouraged but no coolers, no carry in beverages, no canopy's and no pets allowed. Food Vendors and Plenty of Ice Cold Beverages will be on hand.
