Jordan and City of Miami Gardens Councilwoman Lisa C. Davis.  The free, bi-annual community concert presents South Florida’s finest live jazz and blues artists performing for the whole family under the stars in Miami Gardens.

Versatile song stylist, Yvonne Brown has performed throughout the U.S.A., Canada and the Caribbean. Her career included early stints at New York’s Copacabana, The Sahara Las Vegas, Harrah's Lake Tahoe and Atlantic City’s Tropicana. Along with her husband, bassist Charlie Brown, they’ve made South Fla. home, playing a steady calendar including Disney World's Pleasure Island and the best hotels, clubs and cruise lines. Yvonne has performed with Jazz greats including Jesse Jones, Jr., Dolph Castellano, Eric Allison, Melton Mustafa, Mike Gerber and Jon Frangipane. The Yvonne Brown Quintet will feature Jesse Jones, Jr. on Alto Sax, Brian Murphy at the Piano, Paul Shewchuk on Double Bass and Lenny Steinberg on the Drums.

Ricky Williams is a singer, composer & multi-instrumentalist with a very soulful style of smooth Jazz and Rhythm & Blues. Blind since 6 years old, Ricky started his career at 9, first on the drums then piano at 14. He’s performed at The Village Gate, the New Cotton Club and many NYC clubs, and has played with Bette Midler, Roy Ayers, Sister Sledge, Luther Vandross and Patti LaBelle. He’s friends with Stevie Wonder and was present during the recording of Superstition and played on “Soundbook”! Ricky has performed with many bands and as a solo act including 11 years at The Forge on Miami Beach.
