Sunshine Jazz Organization presents Eddy Balzola & ORIENTE! - an exciting mix of Afro-Latin Jazz, Blues, Rhythm & Soul. Born in Guanabacoa, Cuba, a town known for its Afro-Cuban folklore and culture, the guitarist, composer and arranger debuted ORIENTE! in mid-90’s at famed New Orleans Jazz club “Snug Harbor”.
The band has played countless events over 25 years – DOD European Tour, "Music Voyager" (on Prime Video), St, Lucia Jazz Fest, Hon-Dah Apache Nation Culture Concert, New Orleans Jazz & Heritage, MOJA Pan African Fest (S.C.), SOBE “Live on the Food Network” w/ Chef Bobby Flay. Balzola’s lineup for Sept 6th features percussionist Yoel Del Sol, Memphis trumpeter Stuart King, Mustafa on Sax, Chicago upright & electric bassist Rusty Hari Heck, and special guest, drummer John Yarling!
General seating TICKETS are $30, VIP TICKETS are $40 and are available online and at the door.

Our mission is to foster and enhance jazz talent by sponsoring workshops, concerts and lectures for aspiring and established jazz musicians, as well as to maintain the archives of audio and video related to jazz music. Sunshine Jazz also provides a jazz musicians' referral service, produces concert tours, commissions jazz recordings, publishes the monthly newsletter, The Sunshine Jazz Messenger, and is the established Florida link for jazz societies internationally.
