The the legacy of the legendary Oscar Peterson lives on! A Canadian jazz icon whose musical prowess knew no bounds. Hailed as a true virtuoso and regarded as one of the most illustrious jazz pianists in history, Peterson's musical journey spanned over six decades, leaving an indelible mark on the world of jazz.

With a remarkable catalog of over 200 recordings to his name, Peterson's artistry was not only celebrated but also recognized with a remarkable collection of accolades. He clinched an astounding eight Grammy Awards, a testament to his unparalleled talent. Furthermore, the Recording Academy bestowed upon him a prestigious lifetime achievement award, solidifying his place in the annals of music history.

Peterson's influence extended far and wide, gracing stages across the globe with thousands of unforgettable concerts. His peer and jazz legend Duke Ellington affectionately dubbed him the "Maharaja of the keyboard," a fitting tribute to his regal command over the piano. Among friends and within the jazz community, he was simply known as "O.P." – a moniker that reflected his genuine connection with those who admired his work. Informally, he was revered as "the King of inside swing," a title that encapsulates the infectious rhythm and swing of his music.

Oscar Peterson's legacy is a testament to the enduring power of jazz, and his music continues to inspire and captivate audiences worldwide.

Phil Hinton is a British born pianist, arranger, orchestrator and conductor. He has worked in those capacities for the BBC (British Broadcasting Corporation) and many of the independent broadcasting production companies. He has also arranged and orchestrated the music, played piano and conducted on over 200 major hit albums for artists such as Shirley Bassey, Anthony Newley, Howard Keel, Vince Hill, Andrew Lloyd-Webber and Paul McCartney, to name just a few. Since emigrating to the USA in 1994 he has given many classical and jazz piano recitals around the USA and on several cruise ships. Phil has directed the music for countless theatre shows all over the USA. He was conductor of the Florida Pops Concert orchestra for three years. He was musical director and pianist on Engelbert Humperdink’s 2013 tour of Australia and New Zealand. He was also the resident pianist for the Kravis Pops Orchestra in West Palm Beach under the baton of celebrated singer and entertainer, Michael Feinstein for three years and a regular guest pianist with The Florida Orchestra in Tampa.

Drummer Howie Gordon has had the privilege of collaborating with a diverse array of esteemed artists and institutions throughout his career. His impressive roster includes iconic musicians like Eartha Kitt, Lionel Hampton, Duke Ellington, Johnny Hartman, Fredda Payne, Cab Calloway, Whitney Houston, Cissy Houston, and many more. Furthermore, Howie has shared his rhythmic talents with renowned entertainers such as Jerry Lewis, Lorna Luft, Brook Benton, Dick Hymes, Rich Little, Gloria Loring, Phyllis Diller, Don Rickels, Eddie Fisher, Suzette Charles, Jerry Vale, Sara Zahn, Sergio Franchi, Johnny Desmond, The Four Lads, The Four Aces, Julie Budd, Juluis LaRosa, Michael Amante, and Eric Jordan Young. His musical journey has taken him to prestigious symphony orchestras, including the Pittsburgh Symphony, Houston Symphony, Dallas Symphony, San Francisco Symphony, Hamilton Symphony, and Baltimore Symphony. Additionally, Howie has graced significant stages such as the White House, the London Royal Command Performance, and the Kennedy Center. His talent has also been recognized with New York Emmy Awards, solidifying his reputation as a highly accomplished drummer and performer.
