WINES THE BLUES UPDATE: Despite our previous announcement, Dunedin's beloved event, Wines the Blues, is not going anywhere in 2023!

Thanks to the incredible determination of our community, the event has been saved. With unwavering support from the Chamber, the City of Dunedin, and Visit Dunedin, the Downtown Dunedin Merchants Association is thrilled to announce that Wines the Blues will continue strong!

This year's event will take us back to our grassroots, a community-driven effort that reminisces the early days of the event. Get ready for a Wines the Blues experience like no other – one that brings us all together in celebration. Cheers to keeping the tradition alive!

After careful consideration and review of the realities of what is required to throw a successful Dunedin Wines the Blues and as much as it pains us to say this, the Downtown Dunedin Merchants Association must forgo this year’s (2023) event. 

Given the tough economic climate and rising costs that our organization and merchant membership face, the DDMA did not feel it could put on an event fitting the name of Dunedin Wines the Blues that we have all grown to love and expect. 

We want to thank everyone who comes out in support of this event—both near and far—and hope to see you all at Mardi Gras 2024 and Wines the Blues 2024!
