The news...

BLUES Festival!

The layout...

Welcome to Chicago! $20 for the half day. And,
nicely enough, half way between the fest and Buddy Guy's!

A grand day for festing in the Windy City.

West Coast. Chicago. East Coast. The blues has the United States covered!

The ladies carried the day!

From Stan Street's Hambone Gallery to Chicago's mainstage. Yes!

Anne, diggin' the groove deep.

Great planning by the planners of the fest. The ladies kicked it all today in a fine and upbeat style.

Couldn't keep in the seat!

All the ladies...

Mr. Sipp whippin' the crowd up into a frenzy of his WAY southside blues (Mississippi south, that is...)

Bent perspective..

There is still cool stuff downtown...

Florida takes the stage...by storm!

Who got dressed first?

Truly a family affair...

Kensey Report - Gary Indiana is close enough to be Chicago through-n-through!

Mr. Toronzo Cannon. Just strolling the park, being the gentlemen he is, in the Chicago way!

Sure wish they would have a published list of performers for this stage....

Hey! Look!Smile!

Sure glad I took a walk down to Rosa's stage. Nick Schnebelen and the guys were sounding GREAT! Would have been there earlier had I known...

Headliner/closer Eric Gales pulling out all the stops, as he does so well!

Sooooo Chicago....

Any one seen my head? I seem to have lost it in Chicago blues!

THESE ladies!

This turn-out was for the OPENERS!

The fest did the best and let me sneak up front with the big lens to snap some. Thanks!

Florida... is in the house... on the stage, and in the park!

In the small world catergory, so nice to see smiling faces of friends - whether on the back porch of the Bluesberry in Clarksdale or in Chicago!
