Railroad Square Art District is a WWII-era industrial warehouse
park turned urban core art district, Railroad Square is a 10-acre 
haven for the creatives of Tallahassee with more than 70 shops, 
galleries, and small businesses. FREE ADMISSION!

Arts and Cultural Experiences at Railroad Square Art District
 in Tallahassee, Florida, presents the widely acclaimed New Orleans 
band DUMPSTAPHUNK in a free show outdoors in the Railroad 
Square Art Garden. This internationally-known seven piece funk 
band includes Ivan and Ian Neville, the next generation of 
Neville Brothers.  ArtiGras is a celebration and homage to the 
vibrant and engaging cultural traditions of Mardi Gras, while 
adding a unique Tallahassee Art District “spin" for neighbors 
and visitors alike.

The ArtiGras Festival will also host musical performances by 
Sauce Boss, opening on the main stage, and lots more live 
music in several after hours venues. Artigras will also feature 
art-making stations, education, dance, food, and a vibrant, colorful 
parade. This is an annual event that brings together people from 
a diversity of cultural backgrounds, both from across the 
Tallahassee area and from out of town, to celebrate this fun 
and engaging holiday.  Programming will appeal to a wide 
audience, including activities geared toward children and 
families.  Sunday’s event will feature Longineu Parsons 
Ensemble at a Mardi Gras themed Jazz brunch.

 their contributions to this festival and celebration of culture.

distance from Levy and Lafayette Park neighborhoods. Serving beer, wine, 
coffee, tea, and sodas -- a perfect quiet spot to enjoy conversation, reading, art, 
without TV or canned music.

Menu includes New Orleans style red-beans-and-rice with andouille sausage, 
gumbo, vegan soup and vegan sandwich, grilled cheese sandwiches, 
grilled ham / cheese sandwiches, and pressed Cuban sandwiches all at 
very affordable prices. And now occasional special offerings.

North Florida Folk Network's 2nd Sundays at Stetson's Is Back!

 Backing up a bit... I arrived back in FL on December 12, 2021 and the first music stop was Beluthahatchee for the return of the North Florida Folk Network (NFFN) 2nd Sunday at Stetson Kennedy's. Coming here has been long on the list of places I needed to get to and I look forward to returning. It is always a pleasure to come to a new place and see friends and this day was no exception with Cindy Bear and Franc Robert there to greet me with big smiles betwen their organizational and sound board tasks in full swing. Here's some pics and vids that I hope will inspire you to attend and contribute to this event of multi-level impact on our culture and community... Before I left this event was already on my 'must return' list - on a day when I I can get there early and don't have to move on... Thank you!
