Times) into a powerful artist delving into the pain and wonder of the human heart, on the double-Grammy nominated “intense and heady” (Jazz Times) Thirsty Ghost. Backed by a superb quartet, Gazarek ranges through jazz standards to eclectic pop by Stevie Wonder and Bjork to her own wry and poignant originals.
