Jazz darling and Youtube sensation Kate Davis started on violin at age five, moving on to media accolades and performances with Jazz at Lincoln Center and the likes of Ben Folds and Alison Krauss. But in her 20s she turned from familiar accomplishments to writing deeply personal indie rock songs of identity, self-worth, loss and love – now featured on her debut album Trophy.
