As the sun sets to the west folks will enjoy our headline act Little Jake and the Soul Searchers, a soulfully swinging R&B band that is tops in talent and entertainment. Little Jake Mitchell is an authentic blues child prodigy and R&B singer who works as hard today as he did in his appearances at the Apollo Theater; as hard as he did on tour as "Mr. Excitement" with R&B immortals James Brown, Jackie Wilson, Sam Cooke, and Bobby Blue Bland. Little Jake & The Soul Searchers—that's what you get when you combine Jake with The Silver-Sonic Horns and a powerful rhythm section. The band recalls authentic R&B stagecraft in support of a classic repertoire of soulful songs. Depending on the venue, Jake and the band treat audiences to sights and sounds seldom seen or heard since the golden age of R&B: opening singers, Tran “The Piano Man” Whitley and drummer, Hal "Halag8r" Saylor; a dynamic, audience-walking lead singer; a strolling horn section; a full-time emcee/announcer, Kenny "The Conductor" Eunice; and one of the funkiest rhythm sections around. The band's roots are deep, featuring sidemen who worked with Ike and Tina Turner, Billy Joe Royal, Ernie K Doe, Hues Corporation, and other R&B and rock pioneers.

James "Super Chikan" Johnson is an American blues musician, based in Clarksdale, Mississippi. Super Chikan is a genuine, one of a kind, Mississippi blues man – a real Mississippi blues treasure. Johnson’s album for Bluestown Records, Chikadelic, is well awarded and a real gem. Super Chikan is the nephew of the late blues great Big Jack Johnson. Johnson has achieved much success in his own career. Nominated for a W. C. Handy Award in the category of Best New Artist in 1998, he is the recipient of five Living Blues Awards and an Excellence in Performance Governor's Award from Mexico City. He received a Mississippi Governor's Award for Excellence in the Arts in 2004. In 2010 his album Chikadelic was awarded Traditional Blues Album Of The Year at the Blues Music Awards in Memphis, Tennessee. He was also nominated in the categories B.B. King Entertainer of the Year and Song Of The Year for the song “Fred’s Dollar Store”. He enjoys several kinds of music that are reflected in his own songs, and he is inspired by artists like Jimmy Reed, Elmore James, Lightin' Hopkins and Slim Harpo, but his style and delivery are uniquely his own. As a child at home, he learned to imitate the chickens' clucks and cackles, sounds he incorporates into his performances and mimics on his guitar. It's easy to enjoy Super Chikan's music when he seems to be having such a good time with it himself. He is authentic, down to earth and completely unpretentious.

Joel DaSilva has blues running through his veins. Born and raised in his sweet home, Chicago, DaSilva hails from a musical family. His mother and father traveled throughout Brazil and Ukraine, his mother a singer and father accompanying her on guitar. His father passed away when he was 3, but Joel continues to channel that soulful energy in his manic and soulful live performances to this day. As soon as he was old enough to work, Joel took a job as a bar back in a blues joint where his older brother tended bar. The goal was to get closer to the music, immersing in the scene. Eventually, he was setting up equipment for touring bands and getting to know them in exchange for lessons from the masters and lessons in Music Business 101. By the age of 18, DaSilva joined his first band, Junior Drinkwater & the Thirstquenchers. He went on to play in jump blues, blues, psychobilly, and surf-oriented bands like The Regulators and Hep Cat Boo Daddies before breaking out on his own as a solo artist. With a resume that includes performances with heavy hitters like B.B. King, A.C. Reed, The Fabulous Thunderbirds, Reverend Horton Heat and opening for acts as varied as J.J. Grey, The White Stripes , The Black Crowes, Jeff Beck , and Jimmie Vaughan, DaSilva has already made a mark in the industry; and is poised to become a power player….He is the real deal. His tone matches his soul. His voice matches his heart.

Meg Williams often compared to Susan Tedeschi and Bonnie Raitt, Meg's guitar playing has captured the attention of listeners throughout all of Nashville and increasingly the US. Meg recently released her newest blues-rock EP 'Maybe Someday', recorded in East Nashville, featuring many Nashville based musicians. You can find the EP on Spotify, iTunes, Amazon Music, and many other sites. Songs from 'Maybe Someday' has been played on SiriusXM's Bluesville and radio stations worldwide, including Canada, USA, UK, Netherlands, Italy, France, Germany, Ireland, Australia, and more. 'Maybe Someday' just hit #10 on the Top 50 Blues Rock Album charts, on the Roots Music Report, and #38 on the Top Blues Album charts.

Travis Bowlin recently release his second studio album, “Secundus,” is a flavorful, driven, yet sultry rock/soul/blues opus that takes us from the jazzy, smoky lounge feeling of ‘Casaurina Sand’ to heavy-hitting rock songs like ‘Dancin’ with the Devil.’ There’s plenty of soul in between with tunes like ‘Strange Vibes,’ with its Wilson Pickett feel from start to finish and the downright dirty blues stylings of tracks like ‘Slow Cooker Man’ & ‘Vicksburg Blues.’ This record is filled with lyrics that take you right there like a movie inside your head. There’s love, hate, happiness, sadness, and plenty of attitude throughout. Secundus, and its meanings reminded me of John Lee Hooker’s song ‘Mr. Lucky.’ I feel very lucky and blessed to be able to do what I do. I have really put a lot of myself into this record in more ways than one. As an artist, you never are satisfied with anything you do, but there’s a time when you have to say ok, that’s enough. Here are 12 songs about how I feel, how you might feel, and for everyone to have an opinion on. I am very proud of the music that was made in the studio and the “fun work” put into this record. I’m excited for everyone to hear it.”

Jerry Marotta and Rock City Road - Jerry auditioned for a Woodstock based group called Orleans and got the job. Soon afterwards he found himself in L.A. recording the Waking and Dreaming record, played on his first hit “Still The One” and on the road, with Orleans, supporting Jackson Browne. Orleans founding member, John Hall, left the band in the summer of 1977. As the band took time to decide what their next move would be, Jerry flew to London and started working with ex-Genesis lead singer Peter Gabriel. For the next two decades, Jerry divided his time between recording and touring with Peter Gabriel, Daryl Hall and John Oates, Tears for Fears, Joan Armatrading, Paul McCartney, Sarah McLachlan, John Mayer, and countless others. Rock City Road will fill your journey with a soundtrack of, Americana blues roots Featuring Jerry Marotta (drums) Bobby Croft (bass) played with Gregg Allman and Derek Trucks, Jon Zeeman Guitar) played with Susan Tedeschi , Janis Ian, The Burns Sisters Band, Chris Spedding , and the Allman Brothers Band.,and Jeff Whitfield(guitar) with Central Florida's band Macha Gray.
