SJO’s monthly Sunshine Jazz Concert Series will be a 
special Saturday night event this month as we celebrate
President Keith Valles on his 60th Birthday!  Join us as we
party down to the super  rhythm and soul of internationally
acclaimed blues master, Joey Gilmore and his Band! 

~ A word from President Keith ~  
It’s my very special blessing to not only celebrate turning 
60 years young, but to also celebrate being healthy 
& jazzy wealthy with my SJO family and friends! I am
honored and especially excited about this month’s 
concert with “Blues Legend” Joey Gilmore. As my dad, 
“The Mahj” would often say, 
“The Blues is the backbone of America’s music”!

Joshua “Joey” Gilmore was born in Ocala, FL where his love for the guitar began early. Inspired by the local barber/minister who played a flat-body electric guitar with no amplifier, the electric blues guitarist is a highlight at blues festivals and clubs all over the world. The singer, songwriter and guitarist has established himself as a Florida legend, considered among the best soul blues and R&B singers in the business, sharing the stage with icons like James Brown, Etta James and Bobby Bland.
