"With over whelming joy, gratitude, humility and awe; I want to express our profound APPRECIATION for all the folks who made the 10th Annual Smokin’ in Steele BBQ & Blues Fest a HUGE success, chock full of love and memories that we will all carry in our hearts forever. Words do not even come close to fully express our gratitude. From the Smokin’ Committee who breathed life into this dream; to the family of Knights of Columbus Council 945 who built this dream; to all the sponsors who make it possible with support for the dream; to the artists, the vendors, the event participants, et all, who shared their skills and love to give ‘substance’ to this dream; and (most importantly) to the extended family of folks who came, enjoyed, and ‘danced’ with the dream; it was truly a labor of love with individuals coming together to make our little corner of the world just a little bit better, raising support and awareness for those in our community that need the helping hand of kindness, while engaging in joyous FUN! THAT is simply how it is done.
I Believe in the inherent goodness that exists in all;
I Believe that music is a universal panacea for the spirit;
I Believe Love is FAR more powerful than hate, creating waves of change for good;
I Believe ‘WE ALL’ hold dear the greatest gift of choice;
I Believe in the undeniable strength and dominance of people who choose to be joined in common cause with love;
I Believe in that power bestowed on us to make that which we can, better for all God's Children;
I Believe in the serenity of acceptance of all things beyond control, or different from personal ideology;

You are blessed in every day and every way, when you share the love, joy and music in all you do and with all you meet.
