Calling all artists who could use $1,000! The 102-year-old Suwannee County Fair in Live Oak, Fla. will hold its annual talent show Monday and Tuesday, March 20-21, 2017 beginning at 8 p.m. each night. Anyone may enter this long-standing talent show where many great artists have performed. Four preliminary winners will be chosen each night. Preliminary winners return Saturday, March 25, at 7:30 p.m. to compete to win the $1,000.
If you can perform solo on stage, have a band, a duo or trio, this is a great opportunity to showcase your talent and perhaps win the $1,000. Talent entries is not reserved for only singers and bands or Suwannee County residents...anyone may enter. Talent who have won the final event in previous years are not allowed to enter. Last year’s talent winner was Brittanie Powell, a Live Oak teenage singer/performer who has now performed all over the Southeast including the Titantic Museum, Pigeon Forge, Tenn., Central Florida and many other venues with her spectacular voice bringing rave reviews and winning many talent contests.
Held each year to showcase food, entertainment, business, music, innovation, agriculture, art and education, the fair serves not only Suwannee County, Fla. but all surrounding counties. The fair is March 17-25, 2017 at the fairgrounds on 11th Street west of the round-a-bout and next to Shands Live Oak Regional Medical Center.
