Rick Harris’s acclaimed vocal group, MAD
ROMANCE, featured Miami luminaries Lisanne Lyons, Wendy Pedersen, and Greg Diaz and was
being favorably compared to New
York Voices and Manhattan
Transfer... And then, in 2013, Rick Harris moved to Georgia and MAD
ROMANCE was no more.
Until 2017, that is, when the Miami Jazz Cooperative enticed Rick Harris to return to South Florida to reunite MAD ROMANCE at its March 13th Monday Night Rent Party at the Open Stage Club in Coral Gables. MAD ROMANCE will be accompanied by Jim Gasior, Jamie Ousley, and Orlando Hernandez.
This event will be in high demand and the MJC is selling Early Bird advance tickets for $20 (VIP seating) and $10 (general admission). If any space is still available on the night of the event, it will be sold as general admission for $15.

Open Stage Club is one block north of Miracle Mile and one block west of Douglas Road (37 Avenue). Open Stage Club is located on the street level of a municipal parking garage with plenty of convenient parking (garage entrance around the corner on Aragon Avenue). There is metered parking available on the street. Our advice is to park in the garage so you don't have to worry about the meter.
