As part of a new agreement with Motéma Music, jazz pianist/vocalist Karrin Allyson headed back into the recording studio for a very intimate look at the music of Rodgers and Hammerstein with “Many a New Day (Karrin Allyson Sings Rodgers & Hammerstein).” Her concert for the Gold Coast Jazz Society on March 8 will feature many of the favorites from this album and the Rodgers and Hammerstein songbook, tunes with “gorgeous melodies, near perfect lyrics, music that begs to be sung,” - Karrin Allyson.
