"The new Tito Puente, Jr. album is exactly what its title implies! Pure, unadulterated mambo! What a fabulous DJ tool! This production is full of dance tunes from beginning to end. Undoubtedly a contender for best LP of the year."

"WOW! This is a floor burner of a music production. Ten great tracks on this CD. I give it my personal 100%. This CD will be one of my TOP PICKS for 2010 as well.

Host: Salsa and Latin Jazz con Sabor Latino

"It's very well produced - great mixes and sounds, lots of good arrangements by Marlow Rosado and others, and Tito Jr. has surrounded himself with some outstanding vocal and instrumental talent.

It's also a nice blend of originals and three outstanding remakes of Tito Puente classics. "Cua Cua" features Hansel & Raúl on vocals, Fania original, Bobby Cruz, sings lead on "Ay Carino" and local sonero Jose Arroyo does a great job with "Agua Limpia Todo". The CD also features five original instrumental tracks that take you right back to the Palladium."

Editor's Pick:

Wow, this one is hot, folks. Tito Puente, Jr.'s new release "Got Mambo?" has sparks flying everywhere. And with guests like Ricky Melendez, Kevin Ceballo, Bobby Cruz (with a tip-of-the-hat to Puente, Sr. on "Ay Cariño"), José Arroro and Hansel & Raul, too. Some of this stuff is simply terrific salsa, and a good portion is pure capital "M" Mambo done old school and with a lot of muscle. Listen to "Jr.'s Mambo". This guy just gets it. Puente, Jr. has been active releasing singles that border on salsa-mambo-disco and house. This release, however, puts him on another level, and he is owed props, big time.

This one is a must-have and a big DJ alert.

Very Highly Recommended.
