Latin Jazz & Art Fest
Miami-based ensemble Cortadito will headline the City of Casselberry’s Latin Jazz & Art Festival 2025 on Saturday, September 20, 2025, from 4–9 p.m. in the city’s biggest concert of the year. A traditional folk/acoustic group performing early Cuban country styles, Cortadito’s sound recalls the spirit of the Buena Vista Social Club. The group will be joined by Grammy and Latin Grammy award-winning singer Aymée Nuviola. Opening act will be Dimas Sanches and the Latin Jazz Project. Also, Nestor Torres will be a featured special guest this evening!
In May 2025, the group released its first full-length album, The Guajiro Triangle — nine original compositions celebrating Cuban traditions in the modern world. The “triangle” nods to the musical connection between Santiago de Cuba, Havana, and Miami, the band’s home.
In addition to the music, major art displays will be featured in City Hall, the Arts Center, and the Art House, with dance performances throughout the grounds.
