Blue Tavern is a bar/coffeehouse/music venue in Midtown
within easy walking distance from Levy and Lafayette
Park neighborhoods. Serving beer, wine, coffee,
tea, and sodas -- a perfect quiet spot to enjoy conversation,
reading, art, without TV or canned music. Whether you
know them yet or not, your friends already know
about The Blue Tavern.
Menu includes New Orleans style red-beans-and-rice
with andouille sausage, gumbo, vegan soup and vegan
sandwich, grilled cheese sandwiches, grilled ham /
cheese sandwiches, and pressed Cuban sandwiches
all at very affordable prices. And now occasional special
offerings. Draft, craft and domestic beer, wine and
champagne, soft drinks, and of course coffee
are only a moment away!
