A night of swinging holiday jazz, guitarist Nate Najar’s annual concerts are in their 13th year of joyous music that celebrates the spirit season, with Daniela Soledade adding a sensuous bossa nova twist to the celebration. The stage is rounded out with a combination of Adrian Cunningham, a star on the swing music circuit on saxophone, clarinet, and flute, Carl Amundson on guitar and Bruce Harris on trumpet. The ensemble also features Joe Porter on bass, Patrick Bettison on piano, and Jean Bolduc, drums.

Daniela Soledade is a rising star among legends in the Brazilian music scene. An heir to the throne of bossa nova, Soledade is highly acclaimed for her poignantly expressive vocal style and hyper-intimate aesthetic. Drawing from an amalgamation of authentic bossa nova, samba, MPB, and American Popular Song, Soledade is the new sound of Bossa Nova. Born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Soledade’s family roots are steeped in the genre's inception. Her grandfather, Paulo Soledade composed popular song with renowned Bossa Nova founders Antônio Carlos Jobim, Vinicius de Moraes, Toquinho, Baden Powell, Fernando Lobo, and others.
