On the 2nd Thursday of each month, we traditionally invite guests
to join us at the Bailey Contemporary Arts to be entertained by
Martin Hand and musicians of the Gold Coast Jazz Society, while
tasting new wines curated by a local purveyor. Tonight, while we
cannot supply the wine as we typically do, we can still bring
you the music! So pour your own glass of wine and press play as
Martin Hand invites us into his home to learn about the history of the
jazz guitar, providing some fascinating insights and great rhythms.

“A Taste of Jazz is a fun way to learn more about the celebrated
musical genre without feeling intimidated or overwhelmed,” said
Jody Leshinsky, Cultural Venues Programming Manager. “So many
people want to learn more about this original American art form but
do not know where to begin. We created this event series for them!”
