blues couple – Valerie & Ike Woods, otherwise known as
the “Mojo Ike & Val Woods Experience” will also be
helping us celebrate SJO President Keith Valles for
his birthday.  We can all expect some serious R&B,
Jazz, Blues & Surprises!

Ike and Valerie Woods possess a unique and soulful style of Jazz and Blues. Famous for their high energy, electrifying live shows, Ike's guitar style is a mixture of B.B. King, Jimi Hendrix, George Benson and Roy Clark, generously seasoned with the Ike Woods spice. Ike’s singing is soulful with a touch of Otis Redding’s power, while Valerie’s wonderful voice has the natural essence of Ella, Aretha, Etta and a dash of Nancy, complimented with her own distinct style and beauty.
