SJO’s monthly Sunshine Jazz Concert Series welcomes
back sensational vocalist Wendy Pedersen, accompanied
by fantastic musicians Jim Gasior on Piano, Jamie Ousley
on Bass and Mike Harvey on Drums! Wendy has won
awards and toured the globe as a featured soloist, and
has headlined festivals in the USA, Madrid, Spain and
Russia. Leonard Pitts of The Miami Herald said, “when
she sings, her voice an elegant melismatic instrument,
evokes the standard emotions, yes, but deeper longings
and muted desires.”
