The SJO has hit another home run with the 2017 finale of our Sunshine Jazz Concert Series presentation on Sunday, December 17th featuring Dana Paul & The Dream Team! Born on Nantucket Island, Massachusetts, Dana grew up in a musical family and at 13 they moved to Miami. Dana Paul is an award-winning artist known as a “musician’s singer” with influences from Tony Bennett, Sinatra, Al Jarreau, Joe Williams and the like. He possesses an energetic, charming stage presence making him a frequent featured vocalist in a variety of settings, from cabaret and pop orchestras, to his Blood, Sweat & Tears tribute, The Atlantean Driftwood Band and The Jaco Pastorius Big Band tribute. Dana’s “Dream Team” Band features a superb lineup - Martin Hand: Guitar, Chuck Bergeron: Bass, Billy Ross: Sax & Flute and John Yarling: Drums.
