Fresh off last week winning of the 2018 Blues Music Award for Acoustic Album  of the Year AND winning the 2017 Blues Music Award for Acoustic Artist Of The Year and the Blues Blast Music Award for Male Artist Of The Year and directly following the release of perhaps the finest album of his long career, Doug MacLeod returns to Gainesville, Florida to play Heartwood Soundstage, Gainesville’s finest listening room, presented by the North Central Florida Blues Society.

The Moon is Tallahassee's premier variety showcase for entertainment, hosting major concerts featuring country, rock, reggae, rap, jazz, R&B, and more. Dr. Bacon is a genre blending "Appalachian Funk-Rock" band from Asheville, NC. Performing an infectiously danceable blend of funk, soul, jazz, rock, blues, folk, hip-hop and more. Featuring as diverse instrumentation as influencing styles including: guitars, resonator, harmonica, bass, tenor saxophone, baritone saxophone drums, trombone, violin, pedal steel, mandolin, kazoo and more. Dr. Bacon is sure to get you moving and grooving.

With special guests Jedi Magic Carousel! Jedi Magic Carousel is a funk rock project based out of Stuart FL led by singer songwriter Deal James. At first there was a revolving door of musicians but it seems to have settled on this solid line up of familiar local artists. With Sweet Butter Joe Tierney on Sax, Max Patrick on Keys, Dean Joel Brown on Bass Guitar, Tom Holla on Drums and Xander James on percussion. This group performs mostly original music with a handful of covers that will make you turn your head. They can best be described as 60% Funk, 30% Rock 5% Latin and the remainder we haven’t named yet

General Admission (Standing room) $10 TICKETS, $15 day of show (plus taxes and fees), VIP TICKETS (Reserved Seating, front of stage) $17/$22 All ages, doors at 7 PM show at 8 PM, bar with ID.

looking for YOUR event!


Just ran the numbers for the past year page views of our FESTIVAL LISTING PAGE. The results are shown above. This is only ONE PART OF SIX PARTS of our platform for festivals that is included in promotion packages that start at only $120 per month. The most successful campaigns run from three to ten months prior to the event. Two months is marginal. One month is simply not effective to draw people to a festival that would include an overnight stay.
