The Cypress Creek Jazz Band has been sharing its joyful New Orleans–style energy with audiences for more than 15 years. Formed by musicians with a shared passion for traditional jazz, the group has become one of the Tampa Bay area’s most recognized ambassadors of Dixieland and early American jazz.
Their music reflects the spirit of early New Orleans—lively rhythms, playful improvisation, and melodies that invite listeners to smile, tap their feet, and enjoy the moment. Audiences will hear a mix of Dixieland favorites, gospel standards, and well-known early jazz classics. The band also enjoys adding modern surprises to their setlist, including a creative take on Huey Lewis and the News or a spirited nod to Star Wars, all delivered with a Crescent City flair.

Richey Suncoast Theatre, located at 6237 Grand Boulevard, is a nonprofit, community-focused performing arts venue with a legacy spanning nearly a century. Originally opened in the early 1920s as a movie house, it has grown into a cultural anchor for downtown New Port Richey.
By the mid-20th century, the venue transitioned into a dedicated performing arts space supported by volunteers and local arts advocates. Over the years, it has hosted musicals, dramas, comedies, concerts, and community events, building a tradition of creativity and participation.
