— Tribute to Chick Corea

ARConnection pays tribute to legendary pianist and keyboardist Chick Corea in a special performance presented by the Tampa Jazz Club and HCC Visual & Performing Arts. Leading the ensemble is pianist Pablo Arencibia, whose artistry and deep connection to Latin jazz traditions bring a distinctive perspective to Corea’s music. A respected performer and educator, Arencibia has appeared on stages across Florida and beyond. He will be joined by Dave Rudolph (drums), Mauricio Rodriguez (bass), and  Pete Carney (saxophone, flute). The program explores Corea’s remarkable career through original works and pieces created in his honor—presented live on the Mainstage Theatre at the HCC Ybor City Campus.
