Road to Memphis Fundraiser Fest
So, our mission of informing our cold northern blues brethren of the wonderful blues happenings around Florida continues. Yes, a lot of people come down to Florida to board the blues cruises, but there is so much going on continuously that any trip to Florida to easily be turned into a first-class musical voyage on land (and beaches!). Yesterday we took the good word of warmth and blues to Wilebski's Blues Saloon in Minneapolis. What follows below is some of the sound and images captured during the event. Great to meet so many new friends, and contact face-to-face with those we have been in contact with for years but had never met!
This coming Saturday the day will be spent in Elgin IL at the Winter Blues Bash telling the fine people there of the wonders of Florida's music scene. Then a run down to Memphis for the IBC to tell EVERYONE that they to check out the great Florida festivals, such as Bonita Blues Festival, then over to Des Moines for the Central Iowa Blues Society's Winter fest to close the month. A couple more stops around the upper midwest, then this thin-blooded blues hound is heading it back to where he belongs!

Last fundraiser for the musicians representing Minnesota at the 2015 international Blues Challenge. Event to include music, silent auction and bake sale.
