Marcus King
Following a successful run of albums with the Marcus King Band, Greenville, South Carolina native Marcus King made his solo debut with the GRAMMY®-nominated El Dorado (2020), followed by Young Blood (2022) and Mood Swings (2024). King now reunites with his longtime live band for the first time since Carolina Confessions (2018) on Darling Blue, recorded at Capricorn Studios with GRAMMY®-winning producer and engineer Eddie Spear. The album features collaborations with Noah Cyrus, Billy Strings, and Kaitlin Butts, along with co-writes from Midland and Lainey Wilson. Rooted in his South Carolina background, the project reflects King’s continued evolution while maintaining his Southern soul foundation. King continues touring internationally, with major U.S. appearances alongside Chris Stapleton, Cody Johnson, and Eric Church.
Penelope Road
Atlanta-based quintet Penelope Road is building a strong following with a live-focused approach that blends classic ’70s influences with a modern edge. Known for jam-driven performances and covers of artists like America and The Eagles, the band delivers a mix of pop hooks, funk grooves, and tight vocal harmonies. Their grassroots beginnings trace back to a college house on Penelope Road, where early jam sessions helped shape their sound and online presence. That momentum led to a deal with Warner Records, a self-titled EP in 2024, and a growing schedule of sold-out shows alongside artists such as Goose and Lake Street Dive. Recent recordings at Diamond Street Studios with David Ryan Harris have expanded their catalog, including releases like “Out Tonight” and “Flowers (Carry Me Home).” Their third EP, Chance Encounter, was released in October 2025, followed by a North American tour. Penelope Road features Max Moore (lead vocals/guitar), Charles Eastman (lead vocals/keys), Koan Roy-Meighoo (vocals/guitar), James Kopp (bass), and Anthony Smith (drums).
