International Brazilian music star Daniela Soledade and virtuoso guitarist Nate Najar transport you to tropical Rio de Janeiro, Brazil with intimate evenings of Bossa Nova music.

 Rio de Janeiro native Daniela Soledade is a rising star among legends in the Brazilian music scene. An heir to the throne of Bossa Nova, Soledade is highly acclaimed for her poignantly expressive vocal style and hyper-intimate aesthetic. Her debut album, “A Moment of You” was released in 2019 on Blue Line Music Records, and her second full-length album "Pretty World" was released in 2022. 

Nate Najar is one of this decade’s finest modern jazz guitarists. He is a player who uses a distinctive technique to convey his artistic prowess, and the result is music that is swinging, emotional, and inventive. Rick Andersen of the All Music Guide called Nate "one of the most consistently interesting and stylish young guitarists on the jazz scene…".

Enjoy a vibrant mix of jazz music outdoors at the Liberty Plaza Jazz Series. This free, five-concert series takes place on select Saturdays throughout 2024, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at Liberty Plaza next to the Bass Museum. Presented by the Collins Park Neighborhood Association and The City of Miami Beach, the series offers a chance to unwind and experience the talents of local and regional jazz artists. Bring your lawn chairs or blankets, gather your friends and family, and settle in for an evening of live jazz. Convenient parking is available at the Collins Park Parking Garage, located one block north of the venue.

Glenn Crytzer is a New York City based bandleader, arranger, composer, guitarist, and vocalist who is in love with the music of the Jazz Age and Swing Era.​

While completing his formal training in classical composition and cello at the Cleveland Institute of Music and the Florida State University, Glenn took up dancing the Lindy Hop as a hobby. Through the Lindy his love of early jazz grew, but he lamented that there were so few musical groups that specialized authentic performance of his favorite kind of music. Glenn decided to put his musical training to use, taught himself guitar, banjo, and jazz arranging, and set about bringing to life the music he loved.

Now in his mid 30s, Glenn has become a staple in New York City’s jazz scene as a guitarist and bandleader. He has released 8 albums with his big band and combos and dozens of his recordings have been featured in films and TV shows seeking to evoke the sound of the golden age of radio. In 2017 his big band was named Best Group in New York in the NYC Jazz Awards.
