The evening featured Anni Piper on bass and vocals, joined by John Pagano on guitar and Shiloh on drums. Among those in attendance were Rob Richardson, President of the North Central Florida Blues Society; Mike Markowitz of Little Mike and the Tornadoes; Jennifer Rapier Milne from Gainesville's Loosey's Open Mic Nights; and Rock Star Lounge manager Shawne, who welcomed both local supporters and visiting musicians.
At the time of this performance, Piper was based in Australia. She relocated to the United States in 2014 and was based in Cocoa Beach, Florida by 2015–2016 before later relocating to Oregon, where she continues her music career.
Photos and video from this performance remain preserved in the Jazz Blues Florida News Blog archive, documenting a memorable evening that brought together touring talent and members of Florida's blues community during an early chapter of Piper's connection to the state.
