Community Arts Program (CAP)
Summer Concert Series marks its 35th Season (First Virtual)!

Six, delicious after-dinner VIRTUAL concerts bringing
South Florida musicians to concertgoers’ homes!

EVERY Thursday, July 9 through August 13 at 7:30pm, locals and the world are invited to the Community Arts Program (CAP) 2020 VIRTUAL Summer Concert Series! Take a seat at CommunityArtsProgram.org or Community Arts Program Facebook - and feast your eyes and ears!

From opening night with jazz pianist Shelly Berg in a program titled My Favorite Things! to A Jazz Shout-Out Finale for a Dave Brubeck 100th closing night - six, delicious after-dinner concerts feature outstanding South Florida musicians. Within the comfort of one’s home, these six, one-hour jazz and classical concerts are FREE. Donations will be accepted each concert evening to help support the South Florida musicians and technicians making it possible.

The Community Arts Program (CAP) Summer Concert Series has entertained more than 69,000 people since it began in 1985. The Series has grown into a time-honored tradition and, more recently, part of a Community Arts Program that also provides music education to children and youth in its award-winning CAP Conservatory for the Arts and CAP Miami Jazz Institute.

We’re very excited to again present a line-up of incredible artists,” says Mark Hart, Executive and Artistic Director of the Community Arts Program. “Though we’ll miss welcoming concert-goers within the beauty of CAP’s home at the historic Coral Gables Congregational Church, we’re thrilled to virtually reach an even broader audience across all of Florida and the world!
