The Flyin’ V’s is the latest project created by the award-winning songstress and guitarist Pam Taylor, who has previously traveled the world solo, with nothing but the guitar on her back. While she is known for her explosive and exciting live performances, her innovative songwriting and masterful releases have garnered many awards. Her debut record Hot Mess hit No. 1 on the Roots Music Report, No. 3 on Sirius XM BB Kings Bluesville, and No. 25 on the Living Blues Charts. After being mentored on guitar by legendary blueswoman Debbie Davies, Taylor formed the roots duo Stolen Hearts and released the album Dirty Southern Soul in 2015. Then Taylor’s 2017 record Steal Your Heart earned her a coveted spot on Blues Rock Review’s Top 20 List for that year.

With over a decade of experience playing major festivals, touring internationally,  and her social media presence, Taylor is setting the music scene on fire with her refreshing interpretations of modern blues and roots music, touring as a super duo, power trio and quartet. She is also a Staff Writer for Virtuosity Worldwide Magazine. She’s opened for the likes of Tommy Castro and Shooter Jennings, and served as band director and guitaris for the all-women house band for the Women in Blues Showcase at the IBC. Her cover of The Animals classic “House of the Rising Sun” is featured in the new award-winning independent short film Fate Alchemy.

One of the coolest summer festivals to come along, Spirit of
Woodstock, is a music event which benefits the beautiful and
rustic Sertoma Youth Ranch and will be held Friday thru Sunday,
August 14-16, 2020 at the ranch located at 85 Myers Road,
Brooksville, FL 34602. This is an incredible three day and
three night camping optional festival located just off
I-75 at Exit 293.

Three days of incredible music, children's activities, contests,
vendors and so much more. Camping is optional but fun and
single and weekend passes are available.

Get your hippie groove on and enjoy peace, love and music
each day. Allow nature to soothe your soul with a positive,
uplifting experience with like-minded music fans. Gather
your tribe together and make your plans now to attend!

This year marks the 51st anniversary of the iconic music
festival, Woodstock, held on a dairy farm in the Catskill
Mountains, northwest of New York City, between August 15–18,
1969, which attracted an audience of more than 400,000.
Billed as "An Aquarian Exposition: 3 Days of Peace & Music",
it was held at Max Yasgur's 600-acre dairy farm near
White Lake in Bethel, New York,43 miles southwest of Woodstock.

Over the sometimes rainy weekend, 32 acts performed outdoors.
It is widely regarded as a pivotal moment in popular music history,
as well as the definitive nexus for the larger counterculture
generation. Rolling Stone listed it as one of the 50 Moments
That Changed the History of Rock and Roll.

That brings us to today where we will celebrate the music
festival that changed a generation.

Set in the rolling hills of Brooksville, FL on the Hernando/Paso
county lines, Spirit of Woodstock is a camping optional experience
you don’t want to miss. With over 80 acres of oak trees, creek and
lake, the rustic and gorgeous Sertoma Youth Ranch has over 200
water/electric sites with 30 amp service, permanent bathhouse
with restrooms, showers and dump station. Plenty of space to
spread out under the stars while you are tent camping in our
primitive areas, but easily accessible to the bathhouse. The
park is pet friendly, so you don’t have to leave your dogs at home!
The covered stage and seating area lends itself to an intimate
gathering of like-minded music lovers with large dance area.
There will be a fantastic array of food and merchandise
vendors on site all weekend.

Remember, Spirit of Woodstock is not just a camping event –
single day tickets for Friday, Saturday and Sunday as well as
weekend passes are on sale, so grab them now! Camping is
not required to attend and parking is free. If you do want to
camp at the festival, and don’t own an RV or camper, we can
help you get hooked up with a rental. We recommend booking
one now if you want to come for the whole weekend. The
water and electric sites are limited. We have unlimited tent
camping areas and space for self-contained units
with quiet generators.

Our host hotel, the Quality Inn, is located just up at
the next exit from the festival if that is more your style!

Contact Roseanne Herndon at 941-758-7585 or Alex Kinlaw
at 941-730-9805 for more information about the festival,
tickets, camping, vending and sponsorships.
