REAL DEAL BLUES WEEKEND!

Get some incredible blues music in your ears – two nights in a row: 

JON SHAIN on Friday, November 8, 2019

SCOTT AINSLIE on Saturday, November 9, 2019

Both shows start at 8pm.

Here’s the “real deal” – Jon’s show has a $5 cover. 

Scott’s show has a $10 cover.

BUT: 

If you purchase an advance ticket for Scott’s Saturday 

show (details HERE), you will automatically be admitted 

free of charge to Jon’s Friday show!

Of course, you can just come to each show the “normal” way, 

pay your cover at the bar with your tab, and 

enjoy the moment. You can make your decision up to the 

moment you come in the door on Friday, and pay 

either $10 for both shows (we’ll give you a proof-of-purchase 

for Saturday) or $5 for just the Friday show.

Blue Tavern is a bar/coffeehouse/music venue in Midtown within easy walking

distance from Levy and Lafayette Park neighborhoods. Serving beer, wine, 

coffee, tea, and sodas -- a perfect quiet spot to enjoy conversation, reading, art, 

without TV or canned music. For those that like to bring their work with them, WiFi 

is now available.

INFO & OPERATING HOURS

On most weeknights there will be a $2 cover. 
No "cover at the door," just a small fee collected at the bar. 
Of course, tips are always appreciated. All events are non-smoking
 / all-ages. OPERATING HOURS: The bar is open from 5pm to midnight 
Monday-Thursday, and 4pm to 1am Friday & Saturday. One drink minimum 
purchase for evening events. Parking is free across the street or behind FedEx. 
A bike rack is next to the back door, well lit. We offer a wide variety of beers; 
the kitchen is open late featuring grilled sandwiches, New Orleans style 
red beans & rice, and Valence Street vegan stew. 

Q. What's better than a roomful of people?

A. Live music AND a roomful of people!
