View this email in your browser GARY VERSACE TRIO Appearing at USF’s Monday Night Jazz Monday, March 25, at 7:30 p.m. The final concert of the USF Monday Night Jazz Series for this season will feature the New York-based GARY VERSACE TRIO, with guitarist Keith Ganz and bassist Sean Smith – a group Jazz Times describes as “sublime masters of subtlety.” They will perform in the USF Concert Hall at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, March 25, presented by the USF School of Music and the Tampa Jazz Club.  One of the most captivating and versatile voices on the current jazz scene, Gary Versace has been heard – on piano, organ, or accordion --on recent albums by John Scofield, Kurt Elling, and The Maria Schneider Orchestra, along with his own groups. He appeared twice on NPR’s “Piano Jazz” with Marian McPartland, who called his playing “endlessly inventive.” Versace also spent eight years as a tenured faculty member at the University of Oregon.
