Gold Coast Jazz Society -
Tradition…Innovation…Creativity!

Wednesday, April 11, 2018 ~ 7:45pm
An Evening
with the
FOUR FRESHMEN
As spotlight featured in the current issue of Jazz & Blues Florida!

On Wednesday, April 11, the Gold Coast Jazz Society will present the extraordinary jazz pianist, The Four Freshmen, as part of the Society’s jazz concert series.  The performance will occur at the Amaturo Theater of the Broward Center for the Performing Arts, 201 SW 5th Avenue in Fort Lauderdale at 7:45pm.  Single tickets are available for $55 per person.  Students and teacher tickets are $10 with valid ID.  To purchase single tickets, call the Broward Center AutoNation Box Office at 954-462-0222, or go online to www.browardcenter.org or www.goldcoastjazz.org

It all started in 1948, when four college freshmen crafted a unique style of vocal harmony that soon caught the ear of the great bandleader Stan Kenton. With over 75 albums, 70 top selling singles and 6 Grammy Nominations, this fab four have toured constantly since their inception, continuing to perform to sold-out audiences around the globe. The integrity of the sound created by the original guys has been meticulously maintained. Die-hard fans and former members alike have agreed that the current lineup; Bob Ferreira, Tommy Boynton, Stein Malvey and Curtis Calderon, are second to none.
