We certainly love our life here in SWFL, and that is just what the Rotary Club of Bonita Beach Sunset has organized for a community event with their Loving Life in SWFL on Feb. 3 (1-4 pm) at Riverside Park in Bonita Springs.   Rotary event co-chair, Debbie Perry said, “This outdoor Expo under tent promotes many of the reasons we love our life here in Southwest Florida, and we’ll kick it off at 1:00 pm with the live country/southern rock music of  The SCS Band on stage.”  Perry explained that the expo is free to the public to meet local businesses and pick up information, coupons and specials for the Season.  The Sunset Rotary requests a $5 donation at the park to help their Phase 2 work for Hurricane Irma relief with Habitat for Humanity Lee County; and the Stroke Recovery Foundation.   Rotarian, Samantha Shanblatt said, “This is an event for the whole family and that we will have a designated Children’s play area during the day 1-5 pm with Extreme Air Sports (gymnastics), games and face painting.”

Expo vendors coming to Loving Life in SWFL are from: 1. Healthy Living; 2. Home Life; and 3. Attractions/ Entertainment.  Some of the Southwest Florida businesses attending are: Snead Eye Group, Hoglund Family Hearing Centers, Wellbridges Health Center, Gulfside Chiropractic Health Center; Senior Helpers of SWFL, Pelican Landing Dental, Hi Tech Nails, Comfort and Health Massage; Sandalwood Village and Diamond Oaks, Larue Pest Control, COSTCO, KellerWilliams-Jeanie Taylor, Everglades Wonder Gardens, Zoomers Family Amusement Park, Broadway Palm Dinner Theater and Key West Express.

Sunset Rotarian Kim Hastings, who is also the incoming Chair of the Bonita Springs Chamber of Commerce said, “The public can get free hearing , vision, and postural/spinal screenings, massages; meet local home life businesses; and pick up specials from attractions such as the Everglades Wonder Gardens and trips to Key West.”

If that isn’t enough fun, what goes with live music, food trucks and Riverside Park in Bonita Springs in February?  - the Wine Fest Craft Beer Craft Cocktail SOCIAL.   This community Social started in 2009 and continues its tradition on Feb 3, 2018 (5-9 pm) in Riverside Park, Bonita Springs.  The Rotary Club of Bonita Beach Sunset organizes this perennial community fundraiser. LIVE MUSIC:  Rick Howard and the Speedbumps Rockabilly and Roll brings old time Rock & Roll 3:50-6:10; and the Marty Stokes Band (Blues) Winner of SW Florida Blues Society IBC 2016 headlines from 6:30-9:00 pm.

This year’s beneficiaries are:  Rotary’s work with Habitat for Humanity Lee/Henry, Phase 2 Irma Relief in Bonita Springs; and the Stroke Recovery Foundation (SWFL) et al.   Free Parking and $5 donation upon entrance.  www.Eventbrite.com for tickets.   If you donate $5 at Loving Life in SWFL, it is good for the evening.
