Trap drummer extraordinaire, Danny Burger, hails from Rochester, N.Y. His credits are impressive: Caesar’s Palace Atlantic City & Las Vegas, the Merv Griffin Show, and countless clubs and festivals. He’s played with legends including: Dizzy Gillespie, Clark Terry, James Moody, Joe Williams, Billy Eckstein, Johnny Hartman, Ernestine Anderson and Eartha Kitt. Recordings include: Lou Donaldson, Jesse Jones Jr., Eric Allison, Eddie Higgins, Nicole Henry, and he was recently inducted into the South Florida Jazz Hall of Fame. Danny plays every song with his whole heart and soul, and watching Danny play is a very cool experience. His Quartet will feature three more excellent musicians ~ Chris LaBarbera on trumpet & vocals, Ralph D’Ovidio on keyboards & vocals, and the great Don Coffman on upright bass.
