Tomas Lopez
Tomas Lopez is an eighteen year old musician concluding his senior year at Satellite High School. He began his violin studies at the age of ten, before his family moved from Japan. His more focused music studies began in Florida, where he additionally learned to play Guitar, Piano, Sax and other instruments. He currently serves as first violinist for the Chamber Ensembles of Quartet Movement in Brevard. He has served as concertmaster of the Florida Young Artist Orchestra (FYAO) in Orlando, The Creative Young Artists’ Philharmonic Orchestra (CYA), and Assistant Concertmaster of the Brevard Symphony Youth Orchestra. He has also been consistently selected for both the Brevard All-County and Florida All-State Orchestras, in addition to receiving many Superior ratings as an ensemble musician and soloist for Florida Orchestra Association's District and State Festivals. He performs regularly with the Space Coast Symphony Orchestra (SCSO) and with the Florida Metropolitan Orchestra (FMO) and tours Florida as a violinist for the Trans-Siberian Orchestra (TSO). He has been accepted to study at the Jacob’s school of music at the University of Indiana in Bloomington.

Noel Freidline and his quintet return to the best jazz club in the state of Florida. The Noel Freidline Quintet will feature vocalist Maria Howell at Heidi's Jazz Club Friday May 27th.
The Noel Freidline Quintet is a group of artists who know how to entertain. Their repertoire has always mined the best of every genre, from the swing of Duke Ellington and Frank Sinatra, to the gritty sincerity of Bonnie Rait and Otis Redding, from soulful and edgy reinterpretations of Patti Page and The Doors to Africanized arrangements of Simon & Garfunkel. Vocally driven, their sound is characterized by heavy grooves and sophisticated arrangements that always retain an element of spontaneity.
Noel Freidline is a 1991 graduate of the University of North Florida, BA in Music (magna cum laude). A pianist, vocalist, writer and arranger, Noel has been the leader of his own group since 1991. As a composer and arranger, Noel has written and recorded music for ESPN, ABC and the Walt Disney Company, with his work being featured on Monday Night Football, the NBA All-Star Game, and SportCenter.
A native of Clearwater, KS, Noel resides in Charlotte, NC with his wife April and their three children. Noel is a Lecturer in Music at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte since 2006, teaching such diverse subjects as music business, the history of rock music, jazz arranging, music theory and ear training, and directing the UNCC jazz combo’s as well as the vocal jazz ensemble. He also heads a private teaching studio.
