Heidi's Jazz Club has been the number one hangout for jazz lovers and jazz musicians on Florida's Space Coast since Heidi and Eddie opened the club in 1992. They feature live music every Wednesday through Sunday (See CALENDAR for weekly schedule) with featured performers on selected Friday and Saturday evenings and Heidi's Open Jam Session every Sunday evening starting at 7 PM. Located in downtown Cocoa Beach, Heidi’s makes the perfect ‘highlight’ to a weekend getaway to the beach this season.

Matthew Mill Quartet
With a career that now spans over 20 years, Matthew has firmly established himself as a musician, instructor and music producer.  He has been listed as a sideman for a number of groups throughout Florida and has performed for Walt Disney World and the Universal Theme Parks.   His music can be heard live all over Central Florida and later this year, he will enter the recording studio with his Jazz Collective "The Forefront" and release a debut album with that group.   Matthew has had the great fortune to share the stage with many incredible musicians including John Fedchock, Eric Alexander, Jamey Aebersold, Valerie Gillespie, Alain Bradette, Chris Rottmayer and Airmen of Note founding member Charlie Almeida.   While studying in college, Matthew had the opportunity to travel with the jazz ensemble to Europe and perform at the prestigious Umbria Jazz Festival in Perugia, Italy and Jazz à Juan in Juan-les-Pins, France.  Matthew received his Music degree at the University of South Florida.

Jesse Jones Jr.
Jesse Jones Jr. Jesse is a soulful player and entertainer out of Miami, Florida that has it all. Jones has been performing internationally for over 20 years sharing his musical talent in places in Russia, Germany, Italy, Ukraine, and more.

Winston Scott & FIT Jazz Syndicate
Directed by space shuttle astronaut Capt. Winston Scott, The Florida Tech Jazz Syndicate hails from nearby Florida Institute of Technology. The group is a jazz improvisation ensemble made up of students enrolled in the university’s advanced music course.Known for its youthful energy and verve the Jazz Syndicate plays refreshingly original arrangements of everything from be-bop to the Great American Song Book. Student percussionist, Brian Finnell, says “I enjoy being a part of the Jazz Syndicate because it constantly pushes me to try new and difficult techniques while providing the structure and endurance required for becoming a better musician. I can't wait to see what the future holds.” The Syndicate features Capt. Scott (trumpet) and six talented Florida Tech students: Roque “Rocky” Santiago (bass), James Throne (sax, clarinet), Brian Finnell (drums), Ron Cobb (piano), Tatjana Jemmott (vocals) and Timothy Christopher (trombone). The Jazz Syndicate has become quite popular and has been invited to play at venues both on and off campus.

Dec 5: Sally Hart
Sally Hart is an American singer and musician who was a featured performer on The Lawrence Welk Show television program. A graduate of Brigham Young University (BYU), she and BYU classmate Sandi Griffiths joined the The Lawrence Welk Show in 1968 as the singing act of Sandi & Salli. The duo was very popular on the show until late 1972, when Sally left to pursue a solo career on Broadway. On December 6, 1974, she married Clay Hart, a country singer who was on the Welk show from 1969 to 1975, and shortly afterwards she and Clay also started singing together professionally; often as opening acts for performers such as Red Skelton, Juliet Prowse and Mel Tillis. The Harts have also released several albums as a duo.

Dec 11, 12: Veronica Swift
(Finalist in 2015 Thelonious Monk Competition!)
Born to musical parents, Veronica Swift grew up in Charlottesville, Virginia and has been performing since age 9. She has performed with Jon Hendricks, Paquito D’Rivera, Danilo Pérez and Annie Ross, and appeared at the Jazz Standard, Dizzy’s Club Coca-Cola, Blue Note and Washington, D.C.’s Blues Alley. Swift was selected for the 2011 class of the Telluride Student All-Stars Jazz Ensemble and the 2012 GRAMMY Camp Jazz Choir. She has appeared on albums by the Young Razzcals Jazz Project and the Aaron Johnson Orchestra, in addition to three self-released records. Swift attends the University of Miami’s Frost School of Music on a full scholarship, and is pursuing a degree in jazz vocals and studio music.
