Benefit Concert to be held at The Abbey in Orlando July 25, 2015

The Don't Scare The Dog & Friends Benefit Concert will bring together members of the Central Florida music community for a special performance, benefiting non-profit organizations Guitars For Vets and The Forgotten Ones Inc. Guitars For Vets provides veterans with guitars and a forum to learn how to play, sharing the healing power of music to help soldiers suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder cope. The Forgotten Ones Inc. is a Central Florida based agency that provides relief for disadvantaged young adults and families aging out of foster care who need assistance with basic human needs.

Don't Scare The Dog is an indie blues-rock band that has been rockin' the blues since 1994! The band specializes in drivin' blues-rock with their shows featuring guitar-centric versions of traditional, classic, and modern blues artists along with the band's originals. The set list includes the influences of power blues-rock artists such as Buddy Guy, Johnny Winter, Savoy Brown, Robin Trower, Peter Frampton, Led Zeppelin, and Alvin Lee. The band puts their own touch on traditional blues artists such Muddy Waters and Willie Dixon while embracing the modern blues of artists such as Joe Bonamassa.
