Jon Batiste’s current, uplifting and playful brand of jazz integrates his classical Juilliard training with contemporary mainstream sounds. Touring with his band Stay Human, Batiste provides vocals and plays piano and melodica, striving to bring the joy of jazz to the masses. This Steinway Artist has performed in more than 40 countries and venues including Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center and the Kennedy Center. Batiste has been featured on the HBO series Treme and Spike Lee’s Red Hook Summer, and has collaborated with musicians including Prince, Wynton Marsalis, Jimmy Buffett and Harry Connick, Jr.
