Red, White & BLUES for the Fourth of July! Rockin' Interlachen w/ The Jacoby Bros & Doing the town at the DownTown Blues Bar!

Darn it all, the Fourth is THE FOURTH and it needs to be celebrated despite a slight chance of a lot of really heavy, heavy rain, and thunder, and lightening, and some more rain! Right? Well, glad you agree! Debby did too, so off we went! First stop, The Lunch Box in Downtown Gainesville for a crumb of Cracker the Box! Yes, of course we got there late... what do you expect? This was already the first stop of the day! And, it the rain didn't let up enough for to make a run for it to elbow our way into the crowd under the covered area...and in the car we waited. So, the rain waited to stop until Don & Glenn wrapped up their final song and then we strolled on over for a hello and check out the venue.... Here is some of what that looked like:
Hi Don!

Downtown!

If we would have been here earlier, this is who we would have heard....

 s
In Gainesville, it seems our music friends are everywhere!

Surprisingly close to the weather!

Then, to the east we go, for a quick tour of downtown Hawthorne! Nope, no music here! Next town...Interlachen here we come!
So, where are they in Interlachen? Just slow down, and roll down the window and follow your ears works just fine for us...No tracks, but we found The Big Orange Caboose, with the Jacoby Brothers Blues Band set up on the stage alongside it...

Great music, a nice walk around town and down to the lake to check out where the fireworks will be later, some hot dogs, pulled pork and root beer, and off we go! Only a 15 minute drive over to Palatka for Billy & Gay's Annual "feed the locals" Fourth party at The Downtown Blues Bar & Grill... and they saved us some!!!! SWEEET!!!
