Kickin’ Devil Café in Gainesville closed and seeking better location...

Well, it is now done. Three years have passed since I became involved with “Kickin’ Devil Café.” We closed last Saturday on sufficient evidence that  the business was not viable at that location. The number people told me it usually takes 2-3 years to make a restaurant business thrive. I GAVE IT THREE! It certainly has been  a varied and memorable experience! I will never forget the wonderful customers, musicians and devoted employees who made the magic happen! It was not the kind of financial success that  entrepreneurs hope and work for, but we did make a lot of people happy. I do think the name is appropriate…“Kickin’ Devil Blues Café” was the original name, a place to “Kick the Devil out and have a good time,” in these difficult times. Some folks came for the New Orleans style food, some for the music and many for the friendly social atmosphere!

I am hopeful we can get the good times rolling at a new location! With a restaurateur-investor and a great location “Kickin’ Devil Café” can rock once more…maybe nationwide!

I want to thank every one of you for coming out and having a great time with us!

Sincerely
