Bobby Nathan's Memphis Soul Revue featuring Ed Terry at Sunfest on Sunday, May 1st, 2011 at 12:15 - 1:30 P.M.  on the Tire Kingdom Stage...........Yeah Baby!

This show kicks off a great day of music which includes:  
·        Preservation Hall Jazz Band 2pm
·        Elements of Jazz 4pm
·        Joel DaSilva & The Midnight Howl 5:30pm
·        Jeff Beck 7-8:15pm

Bobby Nathan's Memphis Soul Revue featuring Ed Terry on vocals was born 20 years ago at The China Club in New York City.  MSR  plays all the songs of the great Stax/Volt era that took place from the Late '60's to the early '70's to include artists like Sam & Dave, Wilson Picket, Otis Redding, Eddie Floyd and the musicians that made the records, Booker "T", Steve Cropper, Duck Dunn, Issac Hayes, and The Memphis Horns.
"They are the masters of these songs and we do our part to re-create the magic of the era that was."

MSR's lineup is:  Ed Terry - Lead vocals, Bobby Nathan - Lead guitar, Andy G - Drums, Joanne Nathan - Keyboards, Doug Treen - Sax & Harp.

Bobby Nathan's original concept for The Memphis Soul Revue came about and culminated from his true love of R & B and Blues music.  The band has survived 20 years of incarnations but the one true constant has been Bobby Nathan bandleader and lead singer Ed Terry along with the legacy of Memphis Soul Music.  Bobby Nathan is a solo blues artist on The Midi City Records label playing in South Florida and northeast United States.

Ed Terry is the original lead singer with the Memphis Soul Revue for over 20 years.  He has been a solo recording artist on Atlantic, MCA, Universal, Epic and Interscope.   Ed has sang on recordings with Stevie Wonder, John Oats, Cissy Houston, Sister Sledge, et al as well as producing songs for Madonna, Aretha, George Michael, David Bowie, Rod Stewart, Steve Winwood, John Lennon, David Bowie and Tina Turner.  Ed has appeared as entertainer in the films Carlito's Way and Species.

Andrew Lee Gugliuzza drummer, born in New Orleans and son of Dixieland drummer Bobby Liuzza (Gugliuzza). Andy has spent many years performing in New Orleans, Los Angeles, and Florida.

Joanne Nathan as been a member of Memphis Soul Revue for the pat 10 years as keyboard player.  Her love of soul music and blues has led her into her second career in life. Hails from Brooklyn, NY.

Doug Treen sax, harmonica player is the newest member of Memphis Soul Revue.  His funky sax and harmonica expertise adds the brass soul to MSR.
