Dallas Center for the Performing Arts Brings JAZZ ROOTS to North Texas

Series Created by Renowned Jazz Producer Larry Rosen to Feature Al Jarreau, Manhattan Transfer, Eddie Palmieri and Other Jazz Greats

DALLAS (July 22, 2009) – The Dallas Center for the Performing Arts, together with acclaimed record/television producer Larry Rosen, announced today that it will present JAZZ ROOTS, a series that traces the evolution of jazz, the uniquely American musical genre. Each of the three programs in the inaugural 2009-2010 season will focus on a different style of jazz, including Jazz and Soul, Vocalese and Piano Latino, featuring Grammy® Award-winning musicians.
